Where should impactful brands look at in 2024?

When we talk about impact, we tend to look at our offices, factories, cars and where your energy comes from.

In the carbon world, these are called scope 1 and 2.

How many times have we seen campaigns talking about 100% renewable energy, right?

However, more than 80% of the impact of companies comes from scope 3 (source: CDP).

In other words, the origin and destination of the materials.

And 70% of brands confirmed that they didn’t know the origin of scope 3 emissions (source: EY).

This lack of vision comes from an economic idea that the supply chain is an externality.

In other words, it would not be the company’s full responsibility.

But this is the change and the new perspective that we need to have.

Stop seeing the supply chain as a risk, but as an opportunity for brand perception.

Telling the stories behind the people and materials.

The supply chain is about people, biodiversity, data, new investments and technology.

Basically all the trends for 2024 by RESET.

The supply-chain is a new frontier of innovation and creativity for brands.

This is our vision.
